18 and Under Classes

For ages 15-18 who are on or aspiring to make their high school team. Players focus on tactics, technical skills, and competitive play.. Classes are designed for players to learn the game of tennis in a fun, social environment.

Players interested in registering for High School 1 or High School 2 must complete an evaluation if they are are new to FWTEC or haven’t participated in the past year. Learn more about evaluations here.

Teen Basics

For high school aged players with little to no tennis experience looking for an entry point to learn the game of tennis in a low-stress, fun, all-inclusive environment. Players will learn to serve, rally, and play. There is no additional cost for non-members.

High School 3

High school aged players who play on junior varsity and varsity teams will focus on rallying and learning basic tactics, emphasizing proper technical skills. Practices are designed to be fun yet challenging.

High School 2

High school-aged players with tennis experience who play on varsity or strong junior varsity teams. Players will learn basic tactics strategy and patterns of play while still emphasizing proper technique and footwork patterns. Practices are designed to be fun yet challenging.

High School 1

High School aged players who regularly compete on their varsity teams and sometimes in USTA level 7, 6, and 5 tournaments locally and/or have a UTR of 4 or above. Players will work towards executing tactics more efficiently and with a higher level of consistency.
