Spring 12 and Under Pathway

Spring session runs April 22 - June 7

Registration opens at 8:00 am on Monday, March 25 for patrons and April 1 for non-patrons!

Energetic coaches teach the basics of the game and stroke fundamentals. The appropriate ball and court size are tailored to each player’s needs. Prices reflect one class per week.

6U Littles (6 & Under)

Minimum age is 5 years • Recommended racket size 19”
The focus is on athletic development using the age-appropriate 36’ court and the Red ball. This will help set the stage for their development as tennis players and athletes. Energetic coaches teach the fundamentals of the game through ‘Games Based’ practices.

8U Littles (8 & Under)

Minimum age is 7 years • Recommended racket size 19”-23”
Students continue to build on their athletic development using the age-appropriate 36’ court and the Red ball. Emphasis will be on rally skills, but players will also begin basic technique work through a ‘Games Based’ approach to skill development.

10U Juniors (10 & UNDER)

Minimum age is 9 years • Recommended racket size 23”-25”
Energetic coaches continue to teach proper stroke mechanics and rally skills, but also add basic footwork, tactics and patterns of play on a 60’ court utilizing the Orange ball.

Players continue to build on the consistency of their rally skills, appropriate stroke mechanics, and use of tactics during play. Practice is held on a 78’ court with the Orange or Green ball as deemed appropriate by the coach.
