WINTER SESSION 2 RUNS FEBRUARY 26 - APRIL 21

Registration opens at 8:00am on Monday, January 29, for patrons and February 5, for non-patrons!

High School and High Performance Pathways are broken into two separate 4-week sessions to account for the boys high school season. Players in High Performance who want to sign up for the entire duration must register for BOTH 2A AND 2B.

Session 2A runs from February 26 - March 24 (4 weeks)
Session 2B runs from March 25 - April 21 (4 weeks)

FWTEC High Performance Pathway is geared toward junior players committed to training at least twice per week with goals of success in competitive play. High Performance players are encouraged to take private lessons to supplement their programs. Players must attain coach permission to register.

12U ADVANCED (FORMERLY HIGH PERFORMANCE 3)

Players will be training on a combination of the orange and green dot balls.  This will help in their development of appropriate court coverage depending on each player’s size, age, and footwork skills.  This will also help the players understand how to dictate points during competitive situations as well as develop defensive skills.  There will be emphasis on appropriate tactics of play that includes stroke technique, consistency, accuracy, and court positioning.  Please note that all players will be developing the same skills but younger players will be expected to use orange balls.  Players are expected to compete in local USTA Level 7, 6, and 5 tournaments.

High Performance (Formerly High performance 1 & 2)

Young competitive players compete year-round in USTA level 6, 5, and 4 tournaments locally and often on Zonals and Intersectional teams. The focus of practice will be on executing high-level tactics and patterns of play and developing an individual style of play and proper use of weapons.

FWTEC will not provide make-up classes or account credit for individual dates missed during a program session (i.e., a player misses a class due to an illness, school, or family event).
