Important FWTEC Facility Updates

FWTEC is facing unprecedented challenges tied to our location and close proximity to the Whipple Federal Building and ICE Headquarters. As we navigate this difficult time, our focus remains on safety, care, and continued support for our community.

We are beginning to return to normal operating hours and resume programming. Read on for upcoming hours, latest updates, and helpful information.

Latest Updates:

  • You can find Resources for Parents on our website, including guidance on how to speak to youth about ICE and the environment outside FWTEC.

  • Junior programming resumed on Monday, February 9 (with the exception of Saturday classes, which remain canceled for Winter Session 1).

  • Hennepin County Sheriff’s office is on site to keep access to FWTEC safe. Please check in with them when you arrive by showing your check-in card, FWTEC app, or tennis racquet.
