Volunteer Opportunities Include:

School-Year Opportunities

  • After-school programming: Join us at either our elementary or middle school sites. Help lead group activities and games that help develop social-emotional learning (SEL) and new tennis skills.

  • FFF/FTF: Help feed or partner up with some of our players during our Fort First or First Third Fridays. These free programs for students are an hour and a half of fun tennis games and drills!

  • Leadership Programming: Fearlessly Girl (FG) and Boys Leadership Team (BLT) meet on Fridays throughout the school year. Help elevate life skills, facilitate classroom conversations, and join the group on-court for games.

Summer Opportunities

  • TennisWorks Academy (TWA): Join us for our all-day summer camps! Chaperone on field trips with our players, and take part in off-court enrichment activities such as Twins Games, MN Zoo, Feed My Starving Children, and more. Or join us for the on-court portion in helping players gain confidence on the tennis court.

  • Summer Sites: Much like our after-school programming, you can join us at our various sites that are solely focused on tennis for 1-2 hours. Players will learn the fundamentals and play games!

Career Exploration & Mentorship

  • FWTEC hosts career fair events and a mentorship program designed to help high school students explore various career paths. Click here if you’re interested in volunteering and sharing your career experience!

Special Event Opportunities

  • Sponsorships / Promotions: Help us secure corporate sponsorships or promote our fundraising events.

  • Event Day Support: Assist with the day of tasks such as set up and take down, or help during the event.

  • Event Decorations: Make our special events look the part by helping with flower arrangements or general décor. 

  • Videographer/Photographer: Help capture these special events using your skills as a photographer or videographer.
