Richard J. Rinkoff, Board President
Rick is a Managing Partner and Director of Research at Craig-Hallum Capital Group, a boutique investment firm in Minneapolis. Previously, Rick was a founder and Managing Partner at Woodland Partners, an investment management firm, and a Vice President at U.S. Bank where he managed investment portfolios. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA). Rick has been lecturing and advising MBA students in the University of St. Thomas investment management program for over 20 years. During the 1990’s, Rick was a columnist for Twin Cities Business, where he wrote about investment opportunities in the Twin Cities.
Santosh Krishnan, Treasurer
Santosh recently retired from Edgilent Corporation where he was a founder and managing partner. Edgilent, which was acquired by Vertical Trails LLC, is a I.T. services firm specializing in custom software development and business intelligence systems for clients in the financial and healthcare industries. Prior to Edgilent, Santosh was a founder and Vice-President of Shamrock Computer Resources Ltd., a Minneapolis corporation providing software development and project management services to several Fortune 500 clients. Santosh is an avid tennis fan, loves to be around tennis players and attend tennis tournaments.
Thomas Judd, Secretary
Tom is an attorney with the law firm of Morrison Sund in Minnetonka. Tom has over 30 years of legal experience, mainly focusing his legal practice on advising closely held and family-owned business relating to ownership structure, entity formation, business transactions, mergers and acquisitions and ownership succession and transition. Prior to joining Morrison Sund, Tom spent the last 20+ years with larger law firms in Minneapolis focusing his practice on ownership structure, entity formation, business transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and ownership succession and transitions.
James C. Vaughan
Jim is semi-retired and works part time as an insurance agent for the Minneapolis-St. Paul Agency in St. Paul. Previously, Jim worked as a residential real estate agent for Edina Realty 2004-2008 and Applause Realty from 2002-2004. From 1997-2002, he worked as a marketing consultant for the EduMed Corporation, a publisher of continuing education courseware for radiologic technologists. From 1993-1997, he worked as a multimedia sales representative for Image P.S.L. (Multimedia) Mosby; an electronic publisher of medical books. Prior experience was insurance sales (1983-1990), and sales representative for 3M 1976-1982. 1977-1979 were in Texas.
Keith Radtke is a partner at the law firm of Faegre Baker Daniels, specializing in mergers and acquisitions, private equity, commercial transactions and general corporate counseling.
Sue serves on the FWTEC Board as an expert in education and development. Sue says, “As a teacher, I am most interested in the mission of the organization to serve youth and empower them on and off the court to be productive citizens.”
Visala Goswitz is a patent agent at the intellectual property law firm of Westman, Champlin and Koehler. She prepares and prosecutes patent applications in biological, chemical and medical sciences. She works with individual inventors, small startup biotech companies, large biotech companies and academic institutions. Visala has extensive international patent prosecution experience in collaboration with foreign associates from a number of countries. Visala has worked as an assistant professor at the University of St. Thomas.
John is a Vice-President with TKDA, a 100% employee-owned Architecture, Engineering and Planning consulting firm. He has worked at TKDA for over 25 years and currently leads the Aviation Division, which serves airports from small general aviation to large hubs, including Minneapolis-St. Paul International.
Michele Mingo is Vice President of Mingo Holdings LLC, an investment company she founded with her husband Tom which specializes in partnering with MN based businesses to provide capital and strategy assistance to fuel growth.
She received her BA from the University of St. Thomas in 1995 and her Masters of Education from the University of St. Mary’s in 2000.
Michele has two daughters at Visitation in Mendota Heights: an 8th grader involved in Volleyball, Alpine Skiing and Softball and a junior involved in Tennis and Softball.
Michele is an avid USTA team tennis player and can frequently be found at The Fort participating in drills and Women’s Day League. Michele’s husband Tom is also a USTA player and enjoys playing in leagues at FWTEC and St. Paul Indoor tennis.
