Junior Player Development Coordinator
Nguyen Vo began working with high performance players at The Fort in 2010. A USPTA-certified coach, he specializes in coaching junior players ranging from eight to 16 years old.
Vo played high school tennis in Minnesota, earning all-city and all-conference recognition all four years. Following high school, he briefly played on the University of Minnesota men’s team.
Coaching Experience: USPTA certified; coached four years at The Fort; led the 14U JTT team to 6th place finish at Nationals; led Washburn High School Girls' Varsity tennis team for three years
Coaching Specialty: High performance juniors ages 8 - 18. "Not just tennis but also the aspects of balance, explosive movement and mental awareness--all the things that make an all-around champion."
Coaching Style: "I approach coaching with a calm and re-enforcing presence and I expect a lot of my students. I make it known that they will only get out what they put in. I focus on the journey for my students to grow personally as well as the destination for them to grow as tennis players."
