David grew up around The Fort, and The Fort grew up around David. He's been playing here since we opened our doors in 2002, working here since 2006 and teaching since 2009. We bade him farewell during the school-year once he graduated from High Park High School (where he made two State Tournament appearances) and headed off to play and study at the University of Eau Claire (where he earned MVP in 2013). We're glad to have him back year-round as part of our talented coaching team!

Tennis Career Highlights: Played 6 years at High Park High School; qualified for Team State in 8th grade and Individual State in 12 grade; clinched 1st place at ATA Nationals in San Diego in 2006; competed for the University of Eau Claire, earning MVP in 2013

Coaching Experience: PTR certified; Five years coaching juniors at The Fort; Two years at Eau Claire YMCA Tennis Center

Coaching Specialty: "I'm good at coaching beginning to moderate players, but I can help all levels. I'm good for hitting sessions at all levels. I love to teach serves and volleys."

Coaching Style: "Practice with repetition, then put into practice in rallies or point-play."
