We are pleased to welcome Kelley Nelson to our team this September as our new Director of Education and Partnerships! Kelley will oversee our Tennis2College program and develop education initiatives and school and community partnerships that further our mission of inspiring youth to thrive on and off the courts.
Kelley brings a wealth of talents and experiences to The Fort and is inspired by working for a mission driven organization that is committed to equitable access to education for diverse youth and families. Kelley most recently was a Project Manager for the East Metro Integration District in St. Paul and currently serves on the Board of Directors of The Sanneh Foundation.
Kelley hails from the east coast where she received her BA from Colby College (Waterville, Maine) and spent 7 years as a lead administrator at The Steppingstone Foundation in Boston where, in addition to her strategic planning and program management duties, Kelley developed and taught a civil rights curriculum.
The best part? She and her husband and sons already play at The Fort, so they totally get what we're about!
Please join us in welcoming Kelley to The Fort team!
