A HUGE congrats to all those who competed in the boys state tennis tournament last week at the Baseline Tennis Center-University of Minnesota and Reed-Sweatt Family Tennis Center! A special shout-out to all The Fort players who left everything on the court--we're proud of you guys.

Way to go Ben Ingbar and Taylor Parr for snagging the Class A doubles title (defeating another Fort player, Austin Wong, and his doubles partner 6-2, 6-4).

Charlie Adams took first place in Class A singles, while Luke Moorhead went down in a close battle for third.

Class AA doubles saw brothers Tom & Paul McCallie progress past the first round, then go down to an Eden Prairie pair that ended up in second place. Ben Sajevic and Joey Shubert also went down in the second round to the eventual champs.

In Class AA singles Joey Richards defeated fellow Fort player Ben Van der Sman in the second round of the consolation bracket and went on to the top, while Zach Ekstein made the second round before losing to eventual second-place champ Toby Boyer.

Here's to a great week of tennis from a great group of players.
