Holidays are a time for PLAY! Whether it's on-court or off, make sure you fit some play into your day today.

According to psychiatrist Stuart Brown, play is like oxygen: "it’s all around us, yet goes mostly unnoticed or unappreciated until it is missing.”

Much like oxygen, play is also great for your health at any age. Children who play tend to have better social, emotional and cognitive development than peers who are denied free play opportunities. Adult play has been proven to relieve stress, improve brain function, boost creativity, improve relationships and increase energy.

Play isn't hard. Play isn't a burden. Play is FUN! Turn off the gadgets and get out into the world and find a way to PLAY this Fourth of July weekend!
