Fall 2 Session Junior Programs Ages 5-12

(Fall 2 Session runs October 29-December 23; No classes November 22, 23)


LITTLE STARS 6U (6 & UNDER)

Minimum age is 5 years unless approved by instructor. Students learn and practice athletic skills that will help them as tennis players and athletes in the future. Energetic coaches teach the basics of the game and stroke fundamentals to introduce young players to tennis in a fun and inclusive way.

Little Stars 8U (8 & Under)

Minimum age is 7 years unless approved by instructor. Students with varied experience learn and continue to develop athletic skills, stroke mechanics and understanding of the game of tennis. Coaches divide class by ability and experience when necessary.

FUTURE (AGES 9-12; INVITATION ONLY)

Experienced 12U players that are beginning to compete and train with dedication and focus. Players compete and train on the full court with the “green ball,” as well as the 60’ court with the “orange ball.” 2 days/week minimum.

ULTRA STARS 10U (10 & UNDER)

Minimum age is 9 years unless approved by instructor. Students with varied experience are separated into groups of similar ability, developing athletic skills, stroke fundamentals and mechanics, and tactics/strategy related to match play. Coaches utilize appropriate tennis ball (red, orange, green) and court size (36’, 60’, 78’) to best fit each player’s individual needs.

ULTRA STARS 12U (12 & UNDER)

Minimum age is 11 years unless approved by instructor. Students with varied experience are separated into groups of similar ability, developing athletic skills, stroke fundamentals and mechanics, and tactics/strategy related to match play. Coaches utilize appropriate tennis ball (red, orange, green) and court size (36’, 60’, 78’) to best fit each player’s individual needs. More experienced players will learn and develop grip proficiency, spin production, footwork patterns and futher understanding of the tactics of tennis.
